I have been so busy!! Jamison is waking up only once or twice in the night now and we have started sleep training in the crib. Its going very well. That being said I have much more energy!! Its amazing what 5 straight hours of sleep can do for a person. I have also started working out and it gives we way more energy in the day. It was my birthday last month and Daniel got me the gift I have wanted for years!! An exercise bike. I have wanted one since Alexander was born. I couldn't start using it until two weeks ago though and I love it! Its perfect because I don't have to leave the house to use it and I use it during nap time and its just lovely with some music!
This past week I have been organizing the house like crazy! Every Spring and Fall I get the organizing bug. In the Fall I want to get it ready to be decorated for the fall so I like it organized from top to bottom. I winterized the kids closets and I also got all the correct sizes in there and put the old ones in storage. Then we cleaned out the garage but only organized it a bit. We need to get some kind of organization system in there. I just love organizing and throwing things away. It puts me in such a good mood! We also donated toys and clothes to savers. I love to go through all their toys and donate all the ones that drive me nuts. How horrible is that? Well I have started trying to make rules with kids toys. If its broken throw it away and if Christmas is coming purge a lot of toys to make room for the new toys. Its all a process I guess.
Oh and last week was Daniel's 30th Birthday. I got him a Wii and surprised him and everything. I am horrible with surprising him! He has been getting birthday presents for a least a month now because I can't wait and I give it to him early.
So here is a video of the kids playing the wii together.

Evas B-day
I am going to post some pictures and a video of Eva's b-day. Hopefully it will all work on one post. We went swimming then ate dinner at Rudys and came home had Birthday cake (the kids have been looking forward to that all week long) and opened presents. I will try and post pictures and the video chronologically for the day.
Bubba and Eva after swimming. Eva didn't swim too long, it was hot but windy so the wind made it seem colder.
Eva took blowing out the candles on the Birthday Cake very seriously, after all she had been preparing for this moment all week.
Happy Birthday Eva

Bubbas B-Day
We are posting some pictures we took of Bubbas Birthday. We got him a scooter with a helmet.
He turned 4 today and the smallest size helmet he fit was 8+, now he wears it alot.
First we went to Chuck-E-Cheeses. Anyone planning on taking their kids to chuck-e-cheeses do not do it on a Friday night.
Then we went home and had birthday cake. This was the only one that wasn't to valentines day overwhelming
Here is a picture of Alexander in his helmet that fits an 8 year old. When we came home from Chuck-E-Cheeses he was screaming about his hat. We finally figured out that he wanted birthday hats. So we got him the ones that are on Daniel's head and everyone had to wear them.

Here is an action shot on the scooter. He is falling on purpose. Apparently if you are wearing your helmet then you are obligated to fall.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Mamma went nuts
Tomorrow is my birthday. Daniel and I have sort of started a tradition that on my birthday (and sadly not his) he lets me go shopping (usually all by myself) and I can buy whatever I want. This is to avoid the whole 'what do you want for your birthday' question and it just seems to be easier for us to do it this way and not worry about the whole surprise its your birthday (that happened my first married birthday and I was a little terrified)
Thus I got to go shopping today. I wasn't really going to do much I was just going to go to savers and find some furniture I wanted to fix. That was the plan. I went to savers and found some lovely necklaces that I liked and some earrings.

I LOVED them. I wanted to find a hot purse too but nothing stuck out to me. I was all done and still had an entire hour to kill until I was due home. I put my stuff in the car and then saw Burlington was right next to Savers. I figured I would step in and see if I could find some black stilettos that I have been dying to get for a year and a half now ( I do no have a single pair of black shoes and that makes Sundays crazy when it's shoe time) before we left for Guam I probably had 20 or so (maybe more I don't remember) pairs of shoes. I down sized to 5 pairs and 5 pairs of flip flops (those don't count as shoes to me) Then we left Guam and I only took 5 pairs (I had added 4 pairs while in Guam) I haven't bought any shoes since then ANY (that's a total lie I just remembered I bought two pairs of mommy slip on walk around shoes)
I went into Burlington and they were having an 85% off lots of stuff everywhere sale. I figured I would try on some shirts and see how it went. I tried on 20 PIECES OF CLOTHING! I haven't been so excited about clothes shopping in a long while. I didn't end up liking anything (don't you hate that) so I moved onto shoes and I LOVED THEM ALL! I bought 3 pairs of shoes in one go.

I feel like I went nuts. The feeling I had trying on all the clothes and shoes and being totally alone was amazing. It was like drugs or something. It kind of scared me (I have read the shopaholic series).
I came home and told Daniel (he was still asleep) and he said HAPPY BIRTHDAY and went back to sleep. I have been out of retail clothing shopping for so long and now I plan to continue to stay away from it. If you have a hard time with shopping and do it too much just have a newly walking daughter and 3 year old son with you.
Do you ever feel that way when shopping for shoes and such. I looked down the purse aisle and got giddy. What was that all about? Hence Mamma went nuts today and bought more shoes than she has all year.
P.S don't worry I only spent $25 on everything

Reading
Near the end of last year I made some hefty goals to read more books each month for the rest of my life. I was doing really well until my current book. I am reading Gone with the wind. I have been at it for 5 days now and I am just past pg 100 and there are 700 pages. I think I picked the wrong kind of book. I choose to read the copy I bought in England for 10p at a really old bookstore in Ely. It is the first impression in England so its quite old and it makes it difficult to read. Has anyone read this book? I have seen the movie several times and this is my first attempt at reading it. I think I need to have 2 or 3 books going at a time. It helps me keep focused. (as long as they are from completely different genres) I think I need a bookshelf to shelve all my books so I can look at the ones I have not read and be inspired to read them. I am trying not to do any rereads but I am addicted to the Twilights (lucky I don't own any of them yet or I would be in trouble) and I am tempted to read the Narnia's again (I do own those) those are quick reads though so maybe that will keep me motivated. We will see.
Miriam

Oh here are some pictures from Bubba's little birthday party. Eva wanted to eat the cakes but all she got was wrapping paper and a sponge bob party hat.

Happy Birthday Alexander
Alexander is three today. I feel so bad because he doesn't have any little friends here. Lucky for us he is only three so unless something traumatic happens he won't remember. We are taking him to peter piper pizza. I have never been there but daniel says its good. I am letting him do what he wants today so he has been eating valentine hearts all day from his Grandma Kathryn. He has wanted to watch movies all day. The three pictures are his different expressions today from watching Harry Potter.
His terrible threes have already started. This was two days ago. I was cleaning the living room and he thought this would be fun. Eva went along with it but then I heard her start to complain and I freaked out really badly because well just look at Eva it looks like he cut her face up and she was bleeding.
Anyway happy birthday Alexander we love you.

Daniel's Birthday the big 28
It was Daniel's 28Th Birthday yesterday (it is Andrew's today). Its the first time they have had "separate" birthday's. Ralph and Kathryn gave Daniel and I a NEW CAMERA. We are so excited because being in Guam without a camera has been challenging. It is a cool camera it takes panoramic pictures.
View of the living room area from the Kitchen area (open floor plan)
I think its just amazing. Well we had cake and ice cream for Daniel. His favorite yellow cake with chocolate frosting and his famous cheesecake. I will never make or help with a cheese cake again they take forever!. It was good though. I am going to post a few pictures we took with the new camera.
Alexander also got a hair cut today. Kathryn cut it and it looks so much better. I think we will go snorkeling later today but we will see. Hopefully at Ipao beach. We will be able to test out the new camera.
First it was ticklish and fun
Eva was just relaxing as Bubba got his hair cut
On Saturday we had a lot of fun. We went to Ritidian Point beach. That is our favorite beach just because it is so clean and peaceful. We went with the Jimenez family.

They grilled very yummy ribs and chicken and all the kids just played together.

Daniel, Ralph and Kathryn went out snorkeling and they saw angel fish. I think they really enjoy the snorkeling. Daniel loves it because he has someone to snorkel with. We never go out together because I only last a few minutes and I usually play with the kids. So he is really enjoying it. Oh and they other day when Ralph and Kathryn were snorkeling at the Hyatt beach they saw a blue starfish. Still on my list of what I want to see but I am sure I will see one.
Daniel and Ralph were then able to go to the Priesthood session together. It was a great day. Sunday was great too. We forgot to go on a Sunday drive but we were baking cakes all evening so it didn't work out.

Its my 24th birthday
Well it was my birthday yesterday. I think it was honestly the best birthday I have ever had! Well my birthday in Germany was pretty great but yesterday everything was just perfect. We woke up early to Andrew's call and I was glad because I told Daniel I wanted to go walking the morning of my birthday on this pretty walk over by the ocean. So we got up and Daniel told me to go buckle the kids in the car and then he surprised me with my double jogging stroller. I was so happy. I have wanted one since Eva was born and I wanted one after Alexander was born and now I am so excited. So we got to use it on the walk and it is so much easier than two strollers and it pushed along so well. Oh and no one else was on the walk that morning (its usually pretty crowded) and it was raining all night so the walk was nice and cool only 75 degrees and it didn't rain at all on the walk. Then we went home and the kids and Daniel took naps and I watched what not to wear (there was a mini marathon). Then I took a shower with no interruptions and I was able to get ready with no distractions. Then we were going to go to lunch but decided just to go to the mall (they have this great Hawaiian food booth there). But we ended up just going to Macy's (they were having their pre fall sale) and Daniel let me try on whatever I wanted and took Alexander to the ball machine for 40 minutes. I was able to try on 20 pairs of pants and shorts and found a perfect pair of jeans ( I know that is a lot of pants but all I brought to Guam was my maternity clothes and I haven't bought much since having Eva) that I liked so I got them then I found two great pairs of shoes and I got them. Daniel didn't complain the WHOLE time. It was wonderful. Then we went home and got ready for our date. Rachel came to watch the kids. So we went to dinner at the Jamaican grill and it was delicious. Tangy spicy ribs and chicken, they call it JERK. I LOVED that place. I usually hate going out to eat (because of the kids). I hated serving, every minute of it was torture so when I go out to eat all I think about it serving and how horrible it was. But we checked out the street menu then ate outside so we got to look outside. We knew what we wanted so we ordered everything at once. She brought out our drinks and then my fruit bowl and Daniel's soup and the dinner too!! ALL OF IT AT ONCE!. It was lovely. It took her like 5 minutes tops to bring it all out. So we ate and they didn't have good dessert. But WHOLLY COW what a great experience. My best dining experience to date! We were in and out in 30 minutes and the food was sooo good. I hate eating out because when I decide to go eat I am usually hungry and I don't want to wait a half an hour for my food to be made or my order to be taken but that was great.
So we made it to our movie perfectly (we were running really late). We decided to see Mama Mia and Peirce Brosnan can't sing and I even felt uncomfortable when he sang like I was embarrassed to watch. I loved the songs I knew and the movie put me in a happy mood although I will not see another singalong or musical in a long time ( I don't like movies where they keep breaking into song unless its old such as singing in the rain or the wizard of oz or Mary Poppins). Then we went to Cold stone I got pineapple sorbet and I didn't realise until we left that people go there so they can make their "own" ice cream. I didn't want much dairy so that was a dumb choice. But then we got home the kids had gone to bed just fine and I was so happy. What a great birthday I got to go clothes shopping and shoe shopping and wow it was the best birthday ever!!! Thanks Daniel you made it a wonderful day. I felt very spoiled and now back to reality. Sorry I wrote for so long.

P.S still no pictures sorry

Eva is here
Eva finally came, exactly 2 years and 4 months after Alexander. Once she decided to come though there was no stopping her, she came so fast Miriam did not have time for an epideral. We figure it was about 2 hours of labor and only about 10 minutes of pushing. Miriam was amazing. I will edit this blog later, or maybe write a new one, but for now I am just going to upload some pictures. A few comments though, from what we can tell the baby we gave the Icelandic name to (Eva Sunna Reeves, phoenetically E~va soon~a)is the one that looks tongan, from the nose, to the hair, and the long feet. Also her birthdate as nice and has forced any future Reeves children to be induced on the 12th of whatever month they are going to be born in. Because as it is right now I don't have to remeber dates just the months for my kids (and them for me), because they were both born on the 12th, Eva in June and Alexander in February.
