This week

(The kids as I type,
this is them looking at the camera!)

We had a really great weekend! Leslie from Daniel's work babysat for us on Friday night so we got to go out to eat at a great New Mexican Restaurant. Even the ribs Daniel ordered were spicy. It was SOOO nice to go out alone. Alexander and Eva loved their night too. Then Saturday morning we got rid of junk out of the garage and we went to the movies. All four of us! We went to see How to Train Your Dragon and I must say it was really good. Alexander LOVED it! Its the first time we have gone together to the movies since Guam and it was really good. Eva fell asleep 30 minutes into the movie and just slept on Daniel and Alexander's eyes didn't wander the whole movie. We will probably be doing that more up until this little baby comes.

The only problem with this weekend was that I got pink eye. I haven't had pink eye since I was 10. It was weird because I didn't feel any different and I couldn't tell I had it until I woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror. I hoped it would go away but by Saturday night it was Red eye no longer pink eye. So I called the primary pres and a substitute. Daniel's eye started to get pink so we called a sub for him too. We all stayed home from church. Here is the weird part. Everyone and the MD website say's pink eye is very contagious and don't spread it but honestly what does it do? I didn't feel sick or anything that's why I called the primary president to ask if I should teach or not (she wasn't sure what it was either just that its contagious with kids). Anyways it sounds really dumb to me (the whole pink eye thing) but maybe there are worse cases than others who knows. I even had an Easter treat for my kids. Oh well.

I had my first doctors appointment a little while ago and it was fine. Typical first appointment where they say "yes you are pregnant" and yeah that's about it. My due date is September 2nd. I no longer feel like I am dying all day long!! WOhooo just at night now usually which is way better than all day and all night. After this Friday I can find out the sex of the baby. I am pretty sure its a girl but we will see. Oh and the doctor asked if I wanted to get all that screening for the diseases and down syndrome and such at first I said yes but then she told me what would happen if they came out positive she said pretty much its not exact and there is nothing they can do about it so then I said "I don't want those done anymore" I would just be stressed the whole time and maybe for nothing so I don't want to know until the baby comes why stress?

Here is a picture of the princess. The owner never came forward so we are going to keep him unless someone comes forward. We named him Dolce. He is a PRINCESS. He has started whining at night (the last 3 nights) we couldn't figure out why. I would take him out and give him water but nothing helped. I finally realized he doesn't like to be alone! What a PRINCESS. So last night we tried putting him in our room (in his inescapable box of course) and not a peep! he isn't scared of the dark just scared to be alone. We might stick him in with the kids but I am afraid of what they might do to him in the morning.
He has been confined to his box because he won't stop 'marking' everywhere. He doesn't go number two inside just the marking. I have been researching and it says I should get him neutered. I plan on getting that done in the up coming weeks and then training him really hard on the peeing outside only.

We might have some really good news by the end of the week. I'll let you know if we do.

Today

It is currently 55 degrees and we have the door open. Loving today more Spring cleaning here are some pictures of Alexander and Eva playing out side ALL day they love it and I love it because they are out of the house. I had to put Eva down for a nap because well she cries a lot if she doesn't get a nap so Alexander forced Dolce out the door to play with him. Happy Spring.

We are alive

With my lack of posts you would think we all disappeared but we are here. We haven't been doing much lately just surviving. We go to parks on Saturdays and play and Eva and Alexander like to play together each day and see who can get in the most trouble. Today we found a dog that was trying to get killed on a busy road. He is a Pomeranian and he needs a bath and a toothbrushing badly. Does anyone know how to wash a dog? I don't think I am a dog person but he needs a bath until we find his owner or his smell will kill me. We already posted a Found in the News Paper and on Craigslist hopefully someone will recognize him he doesn't bark and he just follows me around. The children love him and keep giving him advice "Dog you need water" "Dog you need food" "Dog you need to come watch a movie with me" "Dog you need to come play with me" Eva just yells doggie all day long now and is so sad the dog doesn't just follow her around. It doesn't mind the kids but seems to prefer adults, wants me to hold it. Sorry dog but you will have to settle with sitting at my feet.

Anyway here are some pictures of us lately.

Alexander loves playgrounds.
He would live there if we let him.

All three of them on the death slide.
Eva went by herself and came out upside down :(

Eva was yelling frantically "STUCK STUCK" so we ran to see this
Eva dancing with her daddy on the bridge
she is really becoming a daddy's girl
Her first ponytail she looks so old
She wears these heels at least once a day and just walks around.
A girl after my own heart
I am just shocked she can walk around in them so long.
This is one of my favorite pictures. There was a huge field at the park that they just ran around it. Alexander was running laps back and forth and Eva was just running and running trying to catch up. We were laughing pretty hard. She finally gave up and started running back to us.
On a side note next week is my first doctors appointment there were only two female OB's for my insurance in Rio Rancho. I have a female preference every baby so far has been by a female so I am going to stick with it. I am 4 months next Thursday no sign of the sickness leaving. Wish us luck and give some advice on how to bath a dog that is smaller than a standard basketball.
