blankets

I made the soon to come baby some swaddling blankets yay! I made them big enough to last a few more months than the kind I usually get at the store. I haven't had the sewing machine out in months. It was fun.

Chairs

I finally finished these chairs

here they are:

We are still trying to figure out the front room sitting area and pieces on the wall.

I chose a blue paint its kind of a green blue. It took forever to find the material I chose a red that kind of looked polynesian to me. I added some batting and they are great.

Its the red one. The other two are tough outside fabrics that will go on my new dinning room chairs.

Walking

We took a nice Sunday walk to test this out:
and I must say the sunsets are lovely here. I love living in an area with so many walking trails right by my house.

Easy Project

I wanted a HUGE bulletin board to put above the computer so I found one for $1 at a church Rummage sale and the cork board popped out easily

so I used this fabric that I bought awhile ago as a remnant and spray painted the frame. I like it now but I hate the gray electrical box passionately!

Garage Saleing

I went garage saleling this morning because our community holds an annual "please hold a garage sale today" day and it was today. Mind you our community has 3000 homes in it. Anyway I wanted to show you some fun things I got. I got all these radio flyer items (except for the little wagon) for $11 and the kids love them.

Then I got these Tonka trucks for $1 I personally love old tonka trucks and they are perfect for the outside back giant sandpit. I love Tonka and Radio flyer.

I also got an unused jogging stroller for $10 it was fun.

Daniel's Request "The HAKA"

We watched Invictus last night and enjoyed it. Anyway Daniel went and youtubed the All Blacks and Haka's and we had to laugh at some. This one makes sense:

They are getting ready to beat the other team and its great and they actually look kind of like warriors. Then there is this one:

This made me laugh because it looks like they are having a hard time just staying upright dancing on the ice.

Then there is this one:

And to top it off we have this one, I think it is getting a little out of hand.

This just doesn't look right anyway we were laughing forever about it. I really like when the All Blacks do it and then no one else.
