Shes blessed

I haven't blogged in a few days. We said goodbye to Kathryn and Ralph. It was sad and Daniel was and is still really sad but we will see them again in 2 years so that is great. It was so much fun having them and so refreshing. We wanted their last two days on Guam to be memorable and they were. Two tow trucks in two days. Memorable but not so fun. I have pictures from our last few days and I will post them. But yes Eva Sunna is Blessed. The people in the circle were Daniel (Dad), Ralph(Opa), Augustine(Our friend), Eric (our friend Daniel works with), Brother Brown (2nd counselor in District Presidency), Brother Davis (1st counselor in the Mission presidency), Brother West (1st counselor in the Branch presidency) She was a little cutie. Daniel said when they got up there she looked up and saw that they were all looking at her so she was smiling at all of them.
This is Eva in her blessing dress. The dress even had a petticoat in it. I think she felt special today. This is just outside the church by a hibiscus bush with her dad.
There she is posing for the camera again
After church before Ralph and Kathryn left
Alexander was holding her, he wasn't too happy about it but she didn't seem to mind.

Grandparent portrait, everybody is happy
Another one

We are really sad they are gone and I will do another post as a tribute to their visit with some more unseen pictures.

Eva

This is Eva yesterday. For all who have not met her or seen her recently here she is. I tried to upload the video but it didn't work so here are some pictures

Ypao Beach

Kathryn Snorkeling

The other night we went to Ypao beach. We are going to go again tomorrow but I took some pictures and here they are. Hopefully no one will shoot me for taking pictures with swimsuits but oh well I guess.

Daniel's Birthday the big 28

These are obviously Eva, you can do this with the panoramic option on the camera. This is when Bubba was getting his hair cut.

It was Daniel's 28Th Birthday yesterday (it is Andrew's today). Its the first time they have had "separate" birthday's. Ralph and Kathryn gave Daniel and I a NEW CAMERA. We are so excited because being in Guam without a camera has been challenging. It is a cool camera it takes panoramic pictures.
View of the living room area from the Kitchen area (open floor plan)

I think its just amazing. Well we had cake and ice cream for Daniel. His favorite yellow cake with chocolate frosting and his famous cheesecake. I will never make or help with a cheese cake again they take forever!. It was good though. I am going to post a few pictures we took with the new camera.

Daniel, Eva and Alexander after cake

Alexander also got a hair cut today. Kathryn cut it and it looks so much better. I think we will go snorkeling later today but we will see. Hopefully at Ipao beach. We will be able to test out the new camera.

First it was ticklish and fun

Then it was 'painful'

Then is was fun because he got to hold it while it was on.

Eva was just relaxing as Bubba got his hair cut

On Saturday we had a lot of fun. We went to Ritidian Point beach. That is our favorite beach just because it is so clean and peaceful. We went with the Jimenez family.

They grilled very yummy ribs and chicken and all the kids just played together.

Daniel, Ralph and Kathryn went out snorkeling and they saw angel fish. I think they really enjoy the snorkeling. Daniel loves it because he has someone to snorkel with. We never go out together because I only last a few minutes and I usually play with the kids. So he is really enjoying it. Oh and they other day when Ralph and Kathryn were snorkeling at the Hyatt beach they saw a blue starfish. Still on my list of what I want to see but I am sure I will see one.

Daniel and Ralph were then able to go to the Priesthood session together. It was a great day. Sunday was great too. We forgot to go on a Sunday drive but we were baking cakes all evening so it didn't work out.

Opa and Grandma Reeves

Opa and Grandma Reeves are visiting. It has been a lot of fun. On the first day we went on a walk around the Hilton Grounds to see Daniel's work. We saw spiders and all kinds of things.

The second day we went to the Hyatt to go swimming. I went on the slide with Alexander and he loved it. Ralph and Kathryn got their first taste of snorkeling in Guam. It was right by the Hyatt on Tumon Bay and they saw a blue star fish. No pictures of this because we were running around in water all day. Later that night we went to Chammorro village to eat local food. It was yummy and fun. We got strawberry and pina colada frozen drinks which were delicsious. Today we went to Latte Stone Park because we were trying to take it easy. This evening we went to two lovers point. You get the best view of Tumon bay from there and you can see deep into the ocean.

Kathryn and Daniel enjoying the view

It was a beautiful evening. On the way home we actually saw a Brown Tree Snake on the road. Daniel jumped out and took some photos. It was his first live one.

Tommorrow Daniel and Ralph are going golfing and then we are driving around the whole island sight seeing. It should be great fun and we will try to catch many pictures

Ralph caught this one, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it.

These two are of Eva lately. She has gotten a lot bigger since the last photos (So has Alexander) She loves her Grandma and Opa Reeves and smiles for them all the time.

Daniel has had to work everyday so we have only spent the evenings with him. He is taking the day off tommorrow and we are very excited.

When a Marketing Man finds religion

This is a random post but I just can't resist. On the way home to our house there is a church called and Abundant Life Church and they have a billboard with an inspirational message every week. Those messages always put a smile on my face, not because they are inspirational but because they are "unique". Here are a few examples:

"Are the wrinkles of life weighing you down,
make an appointment with us and get a 'faith lift'"
"Soak up The Son this Summer"
"If The Lord is riding shotgun then you are sitting in the wrong seat"
"God Created a myspace for you in Heaven"
but this one is my favorite:
"Having trouble sleeping at night come and listen to our pastor preach"
I think whomever makes the sign used to work in marketing for a Pharmaceutical Company.
