After baths tonight Alexander brought me the camera set up the chairs and showed up with the hats and this is what we got.

We were at the dinner table and this is how Alexander chose to organize his meal, nothing touching at all. Just like his aunt Jenny.

My Latest and greatest Sneak Peak

This dresser is my latest project. Our neighbor just sold his house so they were getting rid of furniture and we got this dresser for free. Yay for that. Anyway it is solid wood and I was going to put it in Eva's room but I didn't have anything to put in it there (Alexander and Eva share a massive dresser) So I was thinking about it for 4 days and finally realized I could make it a buffet for the dinning area to hold the kitchen linens. I also decided I wanted it gray. I am obsessed with the color gray right now.

Then I found some gray spray paint primer. This is so much easier than primer with a brush! and it looks neater with no brush marks.

I will post pictures when I get it all the way done. I just need one coat of paint and a roller (waiting on Daniel for the roller) then I will show you what it looks like.

Balloon Fiesta Festival

If you are ever planning on visiting New Mexico I highly recommend coming out for Balloon Fiesta Week. Its an international thing so people from all over the world are there. I have way too many pictures so I will just let you judge but the pictures. I forced the camera to work even though its not great quality you get the gist.

All those little specs in the sky are balloons. We got there for the first mass acsension and then there was another one when we were leaving. There were SOOO many balloons which made it really fun. They were all waiting in line and touching each other.

Tomorrow!!!

It has been balloon fiesta week here. That means hundreds of hot air balloons are taking off each morning and because of the weather getting in accidents. We haven't gone to balloon fiesta park yet to see a morning mass dissension but we are going tomorrow! Yay I am so excited this is the one thing everyone talks about for New Mexico so I can't wait. Daniel got tickets from work so we are going to wake up at 430am and go see the hundreds of balloons all go into the sky at once. This is one of those things that I really wish I had a better camera for but oh well I will force it to work for a few pictures.

I went to LOWES the other day and there were still a few balloons out so I took some pictures (bad ones) with the children.

I kept trying to get them in the pictures with the balloons but they just kept running away. There are some far away balloons in these pictures.

(Look at Eva's hair! 17 months and its already out of control.)

The Kiddies Lately

They love boots. I got Alexander a pair of cowboy boots just for fun and he likes to wear them, he can't run in them so I love taking him to the store in them. Eva got some cowboy boots too and a cute little coat. She can actually walk in them and there is even a tiny little heal on it. Eva can say many words now. She can say Eva, all done, Bubba, Stinky and she brings we whatever she needs, diapers, bowls or containers for snacks and all kinds of water bottles and cups do indicate she wants a drink. She loves shoes even more now and when I ask her to bring me her shoes she goes and gets them all. Alexander still doesn't bring his shows to me. I guess its a girl thing.

Lack of blogs

So obviously I haven't been blogging much. I have been doing lots of things and staying very busy but our camera isn't the best thing in the world and its quite broken although sometimes it will work so I promise I will blog a lot more when we get a new one. We are hoping that day will come around thanksgiving so I guess I won't be blogging much in the coming weeks. I will force the camera to work for Halloween stuff.
