Eva is here
Eva finally came, exactly 2 years and 4 months after Alexander. Once she decided to come though there was no stopping her, she came so fast Miriam did not have time for an epideral. We figure it was about 2 hours of labor and only about 10 minutes of pushing. Miriam was amazing. I will edit this blog later, or maybe write a new one, but for now I am just going to upload some pictures. A few comments though, from what we can tell the baby we gave the Icelandic name to (Eva Sunna Reeves, phoenetically E~va soon~a)is the one that looks tongan, from the nose, to the hair, and the long feet. Also her birthdate as nice and has forced any future Reeves children to be induced on the 12th of whatever month they are going to be born in. Because as it is right now I don't have to remeber dates just the months for my kids (and them for me), because they were both born on the 12th, Eva in June and Alexander in February.

Random
This baby is never coming! We put new plants outside that we got from the nursery and I think they look great. Apparently my cherry tomatoe plants have some bug, daniel is going to try to spray them and hope they live. Life is pretty mundane right now, its getting a bit hotter Alexander is getting more and more bored everyday, but only a few more days and he will have his Auntie Lete and Amma here to entertain him. That will be a refreshing change for him and me. Anyway thats all, I will take pictures of the plants when they get bigger, we got some kind of palm tree too, not the fan kind, I really like it. Anyway Go Celtics.

Daniels Job

I am just posting a few pictures of me at Work. This is Daniel by the way. I really enjoy the work aspect of my job. I enjoy being outside and not stuck in the office all day, but having the office option available to me if it gets to hot outside. What I really like about the job is seeing the success of my work, being able to see the fruits of my labors. It is just nice to see accomplishments from my crew and me. What I don't like about my work is trying to please 3 or 4 different people on the same project who all have different opinions about how the Landscaping should be done. For example in the last picture it is a beautiful potted Bougainvillea bush on the pool deck at one of the properties I work at. I think it looks beautiful, and that is after weeks or months of training my crew how to prune for flowers, fertilizing, and water stressing it just a little to get maximum flowers. Apparently now it needs to be trimmed down to just twigs because it looks "overgrown". So this is what I deal with on a daily basis at my job. And it is not enough that I have to satisfy 3 or 4 different opinions at each property, sometimes those opinions change. Oh well, as long as the properties look good to me.
The other pictures are of some coconut tree pruning we do around the poolside at our properties. Normally we use a bucket truck because it is way more efficient. When we can't though we go up the trees. You will notice the one picture of me being a great supervisor. My hands were sweating just watching him go up the tree. In another picture you will see one of the guys truly enjoying the fruits of his labor. It was funny because this was one of the last trees we were doing and there was a crowd watching us prune and knock the coconuts off (apparently the hotels really worry about coconuts falling off trees and hitting a guest in the head) and when one of workers opened one up and drank from it all the guests came over and asked of they could try one. So there we were cutting off coconut tops so guest could drink from them. One of these days I am going to get trained on climbing trees and soon you will see Daniel up in a tree pruning the coconuts.

Eva's Crib
We put Eva's crib up yesterday and Alexander helped so I took some pictures and one video. He just got this little kid drill so he was very excited to help. He was concentrating in most of the pictures but you will get the point. The sad thing was that he thought it was for him. He kept saying night night and when we read to him for the night on our bed like we do every night he went to the crib with his blanket. He started loading it full of toys to prepare for the night too. But I think he now understands its not for him. Anyway enjoy the pictures.

Our Camera
Hi Everyone,
Well our camera is broken. Sometimes it works we have no idea what happened. Alexander would swing it around and smash the screen but it was still intact and working fine until a few days ago. Some kind of mechanical error, I don't know if moisture got in or if the batterie is over or just nothing and it broken. SOOOO I have no idea how much we will blog on here now, probably still a good amount but good luck getting pictures of Eva when she comes, maybe my mother will get here before Eva does and we can use their camera. We will see. I registered at the hospital and the crib comes here today so it is an exciting day, we are officially or technically ready for the baby. We still have many things we need to get but we have the essentials for a week of a new born.
Today Alexander and I (Miriam) went swimming at the pool for play group. He loved it and was good all day. Hopefully he wont be too tormented by this new baby. He has no idea she is coming but I hope he does well with it. We tell him Eva or the baby is in my stomach but I think he thinks it means he has a baby in his stomach too because he often points to his belly and says baby. I think he will enjoy her company when she gets a bit bigger and he can play with her. Less boredom around the house for him.
