Ever since the floors have come in Daniel has been asking me to find a china hutch for the dinning area. I personally wanted a buffet a long one but I was willing to look for a china hutch. It needed to be on the smaller side and thin so that it would look good in the dinning area. Well I went to an estate sale on Friday and found this:
I loved it as soon as I saw it even with the damage. He let me have it for $25 (I think partially because of the damage and partially because it looks like I am going to go into labor an second) so I paid him and picked it up on Saturday. I have to say I think its gorgeous. My only problem now is I am trying to find a solution to the two front doors and bottom line. They are the parts peeling their wood layers so I took the wood off but only on the out sides. Any ideas what to do? I kind of have an idea. I am open to paint or anything but only the two little doors because I like the wood and its only the outside bits of the doors. I am off today to buy new hardware for it (I am going to do crystals) as soon as I drop Alexander off to school. Anyway any insight will be great. I am sure this will be all done long before this baby comes.

This is a great find. I don't have any suggestions but I know you will come up with something fantastic.
Perhaps you can find something in stores that sell timber and such. You can probably glue things on there. I don't know what they call the wood looking pieces I am talking about.
Hopefully you can figure out what I am talking about haha.
